Election Diary: Five More Days.
It’s Friday. We went to a local orchard and bought some apples, a turnip and a bag of carrots. The apples are excellent. I’m glad to have the rest. I know they would want to be here to see how this election plays out. I’m sorry they’re not. Some days I feel like it’s my job to be here for them.
Made an eggplant dish with some venison for dinner. It smells pretty good. We had eggs florentine for breakfast. I thought that might be enough for the day thinking we’d just snack through the evening. But we’re both hungry, so okay, dinner it is. Every day should be enjoyed, every moment of life…
